Despite the author's strong dislike(I guess more aimed at the writer's blockage rather than the interaction between the two heroes), there's nothing's wrong with this chapter. Sure, it's somewhat mature, but not crass or ultra graphic in any way. Just emotions pleasure and love (along with excellent dialague) between them.

Castle and Beckett or no, there was enough sword and sorcery;( which was very well written enough to not only keep me entertained but interested enough to (although I was planning to quit for the night) jump immediately to the next chapter. If it's as good as this one, maybe the chapter after that).

OK, halfway through the text(only 33% -24% of the chapters). As the author requested feedback, I'm having no problems with understanding the text and following the dialogues. In fact, I've found it interesting and well enough written to just read the next chapter after the previous one is finished. I like it.

Now that we're getting deeper into this world and some of its inhabitants, the story has some more depth. We get the possible romantic interest added. Sill a lot of head cutting, but, hey, this is a pseudo-middle ages style world. No guns, at least, not yet. A good fantasy - well worth reading.

Well, the best of both worlds. Being a Castle and Sword and Sorcery fan, I must say I enjoyed this opening chapter. Not only the plot but the characters the author created showed a fantastic and very hard working imagination. Great start, I look forward to reading the rest.

Let me start off by saying that I love the premise of this fic but I must say a few things.

1. By all rights this story should be listed as a crossover not a pure Castle fic.
2. You are wrong when you say white hair is distinctive of Witchers. To my knowledge only Geralt and Vesemir have white hair.
3. Some spelling errors in this chapter.
4. I like the writing, it's very descriptive and Castle comes across as the Witcher version of Jiraiya from Naruto.

So as a fellow gamer who is totally in love with the witcher games and also in love with Castle, I have to tell you how much I truly enjoyed this story. I hope you decide to do a sequel at some point. :)

Great story to end with. I like to see Metal Gear Solid story, interesting.
