Thank God someone (you) brought up the fact the Yu isn't technically human. I was super sad when, in the anime, Mika's blue eyes turned red. I loved his blue eyes. Thanks for sharing.

Normally I don't like smutty fics because they're hopelessly OOC and/or have no sort of context, but I believe this was pretty accurate! I can definitely imagine Yuu "confessing" to Mika in this way and with the way the events that followed after, an unspoken desire for them both that happened so flawlessly without awkwardness, but perhaps only after they've encountered each other a few times on the battlefield so the shock that Mika is alive has already passed for Yuu? I can see it clearly!

I really loved your descriptions and imagery, especially at the beginning in the battle! And that Yuu said he would come back for Mika in the end! Of course in canon vampires are supposed to have no sexual desire, but since this is an AU where Mika drinking Yuu's blood didn't turn him fully into a vampire, I would guess he can still feel that desire too (and since you said he can eat).
