I love it how you write Itachi!
Sora is a nice character but save for the last three chapters it felt a bit much screentime to him and (in my opiniontoo little to Itachi, but in the last two chapters it was nice again.
let's see... I like the way how you wrote the fighting scenes and absolutely love the time when Itachi is with Shisui, Sasuke and Naruto. I just feel really happy when ever I read them 3
i also think it is such a logical thing to ask for help with his task and it is even better how he doesn't reveal anything about this time-travel rather than to just show the facts and try to solve the problem without relying on futureknowledge. (yeah, I know this was pritty long)
I can't wait for the mission to start and I have this feeling that Inu isn't quiet over it jet.
Is it on propose that both of Soras teammates are named like animals (cat and dog even?! )? And when we allready talk about namesYamato, is a bit weird to have another sensei called like thisbut it is ok, slowly I beginn to seperate themI also love it how Shisui and Itachi work together to bring the clan closer to the village! You choose a good time for Itachi to spawn, just right to meet new characters and to built bonds before it is too late or awake!

.The only wish I have is a warning for the future that you don't teaser to much so you can't follow all ideas and maybe even forget some.

Really good story, love the focus on Itachi. First good involvement of OCs that I've, like, ever seen. All in all, I love it.

Oh my Gosh! Takeru, Hikari and Yamato?! You just had to mash up the characters I love the most from bost animes... Love the digimon reference

The fight between Itachi and Inu is great. I like how he got Inu frustrated before he goes for the win.

The conflict between Itachi and his father is good. Interesting that Itachi wants Sasuke to be head but what if Sasuke does not want that.

My issue in Ch. 17 is that if Sora was in a genjutsu for 5 mins, I think it would make most sense for Takeru to put a kunai at his throat instead of making traps. This a solid chapter.

That was cliché and I can't believe that his two previous team failed at the part where he tell them that they can become ninja but then he kill their two teammates Kakashi's test made sense because he made sure never to threaten something more important than becoming a genin immediately but Konoha don't train for stonecold assasins so at the moment where they hear that they can choose between failing a test that wont cost Konoha anything or loose 2 of their nominal friends sure aquaintances and citizens of Konoha nine out of 10 Konoha nins at least would choose to fail and try next year and that includes students your acting as if Konoha nin aren't taught cost benefit at all and I doubt that it would be just stupid if a Nin was expected to risk his life in order to complete a D-rank on time in the same vein it would be stupid if nins where taught to be ready to sacrifice their comrades and themselves for even the least important missions.

While a good fight, I think Itachi overdid it with his defense. Even if Sora had said that Itachi was the strongest, the fight actually reminded me a bit of the bell test for team seven. Remember how Kakashi let them throw attacks but never dealing out anything himself but the finishing strike? I think that when a genin is capable of doing that against another genin there should be warning bells ringing, even if the one doing it is a genius.
So, that was my concern with this chapter, otherwise I think that you pictured Inu very well.
