I'm writing this now before I change my mind. I just started reading this one, and before I even started I was already thinking about reviewing one of your stories (didn't matter which) to say this. I couldn't get it out of my head, so I stopped mid-chapter to come here and write this.
I've read about four or five of your stories (this one that I haven't read yet is probably the sixth) and I gotta say, your writing is amazing. I don't really know what it is, but when I read it, I get this feeling that everything is so detailed and at the same time leaves so much for my imagination. Yeah, I haven't figured out an effective way to explain how I feel about your writing, but I just wanted you to know that I think is good. Really good.
And trust me, I am dead serious when I say that I've read more than 1000 stories on this site (you can check for yourself on my profile on the favorites section) and I can say certaintly that I've reviewed less than 10. I know, kind of crazy, but I just wanted you to understand that if I made an effort to write a review this long (or write a review at all) it's because I really care about your work and I appreciate how much thought and creativity you put into your writing and plot. I'm impressed. And thankful that you exist. So, thank you.

Changing insignificant to significant makes the double negative make sense.

"I'm not saying that the fact that she was unhinged isn't an insignificant factor"

That's a double negative. Should be "I'm not saying ... is an insignificant factor"

"He'd known her over a year.."

That's technically true but he's known her over 4 years at this point. His family was murdered 5 years ago and In the flashback to their first case it says it was about a year after that (after his mental breakdown and recovery).
