How I wish this Loki could be reconciled to canon! 'Ragnarok', however, has shown that there is nothing deeper to be seen in Loki than his sense of comedy, pain, and maybe a little sentimentalism. I think I may enjoy this a little later, when I have been re-immersed in a three-dimensional, flesh-and-blood Loki, and have forgotten the one on screen. Kudos - to eradicating the lie! ;)
