What a delightful mix of whump and humor - from the title all the way through the end.

The whump was scary and the rescue and recovery well done. I could feel poor Danny's pain as he struggled through everything. And this chapter, chock full of laughs and good feels - from Steve trying the supplement drink, to Danny's threats for the Cocoa puffs, and his statement of love for Kono. Loved it all.

In my opinion there is never enough of the comfort/recovery side of things in fic so I'm very excited to have found this story! I thought you did a great job of keeping things accurate (though I was yelling to hold onto that central line a little longer, peripherals are changed every 4 days and go bad easier, centrals can easily last a month or more as needed) I thought you did a great job capturing each character's voice, and the team dynamic was well done. I love Steve and Danny's bromance and I thought you did a great job portraying their relationship!

Geese, *smiling*, I almost receited the exact ending in my review of chapter 10...I must know your writing style, lol. Actually, I know how much you love those two, and you did an awesome job. Your last chapter made me smile and it was so true to form. Laughed when Steve tried the Banana drink. Ugh, those are horrible! Glad Kono brought him Coco puffs and Chocolate ice cream. Mother Steve, just wants Danny to get well and eat nutritious meals, lol. So sweat how they are all there for Danny. Yet, Steve will stay until he knows for certain that Danny will do OK without his help and so will the others. That is how Ohana works! Loved it! Thanks for a great story!

I just had to laugh. Steve is so over protectective and when he was just sitting there watching Danny going to sleep and Danny called him a freak, so funny and true. They just can't leave each other alone, they are so "there" for each other. Glad he is feeling better and will be discharged. Kono and Chin already know they will need some "baby-sitting", because too much of Steve and Danny together might get interesting. They do have a tendency to butt heads. But we know that they are Ohana, and good friends take care of each other, that's for sure!

SO WONDERFUL! This has been such a great ride. You are a truly unique author - in that you give us correct medical detail (fascinating, awesome detail) - which is what I absolutely crave in whump fanfic. So this being a completely recovery-based story was awesome.
I hope you have big whump plans for our Danny next! Can''t wait to see what you have in store for us.

My mum had to have nutritional drinks after major surgery but she couldn't stomach the flavours, they were far too sweet. She was lucky and told to eat lots of high calorie foods to help her regain her strength, shame she couldn't stand the taste of most foods for the first few months after!

My Dad and I were her Steve. She had to tell us off on more than one occasion. Its hard having to watch someone you care about go through something so awful. I'm sure Danno is grateful for the help but the mother hen routine would probably annoy most people!
