Very American England you have there :). Just a couple things: if Hermione is in her last year she would be in upper sixth form. There is no middle school. Public school means really fancy private school. What Hermione went to before is a state school. Most likely a comprehensive. If Hogwarts was one of the first independent schools in London it would be much much older that the early 1800s. That's old in America but quite new everywhere else. All the oldest schools in London were founded in the 1400s with the Westminster school possibly founded in the 1300s. My advice, pick a school to model it on and then research that school. Jk Rowling based Hogwarts on a combination of wyedean where she went, and ampleforth college where some of her cousins went. Both of these are newer, with ampleforth dating to the 1800s and wyedean dating just to the 70s. Ampleforth is in Yorkshire and wyedean is in Monmouthshire in Wales.
London has also expanded greatly in the last few Hundred years, so if it was on the outskirts of London 200 years ago it would be near the center nowadays.

Obvs it's your story, so none of these things is a problem

There was a bit too much corny dialogue and cheap one liners. I always enjoy it when they can talk using their wit. The convos could be a bit more subtle and clever.

I could tell this chapter was different than the other and that’s probably because it’s been so long since you worked on this story. The dialogue between Tom and Hermione seems less natural. I love this story because Hermione doesn’t just simp over Tom. He isn’t some hurt, misunderstood puppy. He needs to have that edge. And I’m surprised he doesn’t push her more physically. He isn’t some “nice guy” who wants to go at her pace. It seems that Hermione is starting to take his interest in her for granted. Same with Tom. We need some sort of conflict. Overall, still loved this story! I have read it a few times and it defintely has something special.

By far one of my favourite Tomione stories I’ve read! You’ve done a brilliant job at keeping the characters believable and loving the interactions between Tom and Hermione, especially as she’s beginning to know him. Really hope you keep updating, I’d love to see the end!
