Even though Angela found her daughter the morning of her first turning, I am still unclear if Angela is a werewolf or not.

I love the entry of Maura here. That she first encounters Jane as a wolf, and not as human. I am a bit surprised that she has the guts to walk around the pond and look for prove that she actually did see the wolf.

Oh WOW! You have my mind spinning in all directions. The questions just come fast, the one on top of the other.

Jane is eleven years old, the glimmer of puberty in the air. She went through her first transformation of turning into a werewolf here. Angela, her mother, did not see this coming. First question: How can Jane be a werewolf without her mother knowing?

Jane ran until sheer exhaustion made her collapse. I would have done the exact same thing. Second question: Who is the person that finds her? From the person being so gentle with Jane, I assume that it is a female.

This very first chapter has me hooked. You have a new follower. That says a great big deal about your writing, as I almost never, as in 99% of the time, don’t read stories that have a rating less than ‘M’.
