This was absolutely wonderful. This fic managed to walk a very fine line between aspects of comedy and tragedy, where neither managed to negate the other or become meaningless. There's so much that I love about it, and it'll be sticking with me for a long time. Thank you so much for writing it.

I just wanted to let you know that my tea drinking has increased substantially since starting this fic. But seriously, I love it. It has such wonderful little details like the St. John's Wart, the spirit picking up on Bakura's vocabulary and Dark Necrofear plating Bakura's hair. (She was so adorable.) Anyway, thank you for writing it, it's good to have a cannon override for some of the silliness between main seasons. (And good to see what Bakura was up to in general bridging the gap.) I like your version of events very much!

Well, this was absolutely fantastic.

There was a lot to appreciate about this story! The slow-burning plot, for one thing. It felt more like a funny one-off at first until you started dropping bits and pieces about the DOMA arc and I realized it actually *fit* in the story line - that was awesome. And speaking of funny, it was absolutely hilarious when you wanted to be! Somehow you managed to make the transition from funny to angst smoothly, too, but even when you switched gears you slipped some great sections that made me laugh when I was least expecting to - the middle of chapter 5 when Bakura was starting *those* particular figures may have been my favourite part.

I can't really pick out a single quote that I liked the most to be honest. I actually told a friend I recommended this to that the whole thing was very quotable. I also told her that you seemed to know exactly what I wanted before I knew I wanted it (that tea kettle...) The note you ended everything on was a pretty brave one too. Definitely didn't see that one coming! Maybe that could be the tagline for whole story?

This ended up a bit of stream-of-consciousness review but I hope I got across how much I enjoyed it all! I really hope I see more from you down the line!

I really love your story. You've built the relationship between Ryou Bakura & Yami Bakura to something dark & comedic. Your story is intriguing & just holy nuts is it good. The interactions between these 2 are enjoyable to read, especially the hangman part; it's like a twisted friendship. I hope you'll continue with more 3!

This is honestly my favourite fanfiction with Ryou Bakura. I'm only on chapter 4, but I'm in love. You've really got a talent for writing, and it shows - so, good job on that!

The story, the writing, the characterization...like, damn. I wish I myself were good with words so I could write up a proper review, but...words ain't really my thing.

I have to say though...Yami Bakura didn't really...uh...do the frick-frack with Marik, did he? I feel like that was too far on his part , that asshole. Poor Ryou and his body. But seriously, this story is great, I can't wait to see what you do

I'm sad that it's over, but I am satisfied with the ending, which isn't something that happens very often. At first, I kind of hoped Bakura would deal with the spirit properly this time. Make him leave, etc. In the end, he's more or less still running from his problems. But then I thought that even though it wasn't a truly grown up move, he's finally reached out to friends whom he could've asked for help from a long time ago. Besides, there's enough headcanons (including several of my own) in which the spirit is rehabilitated and redeemed so it's refreshing to see a different take on it. The story was excellently written and I enjoyed seeing new chapter updates in my email. It was redundant some of the time (Bakura saying "hush up" a couple of times in each chapter and the overuse of salad cream), but the grammar and vocabulary overall was great. I've only just started watching the 4th season of the anime and now I think about this story, which makes it more interesting. It's always silly to me why they couldn't at least show cameos of Bakura in his apartment or something. Anyway, loved the story! It was dramatic and funny in all the right places.

That was quite sly of the spirit to put a piece of his soul into Ryou tea kettle and it cracked me up a lot :-) I love grown up Ryou and his bickering with his look alike. It was really funny (for the most part nobody wants to remeet their tormentor after being freed) to read their interaction with each other. Can't wait for your next update. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Aw. Poor Ryou. I'm really, really glad he went to Tea instead of trying to deal with Bakura by himself. He's grown up. *snort* Well, he's had four years, it has to have counted for something. And Tea did the hand thing. That's cute. Glad he's gotten better.

Awwwww. That ending was the strangest mix of scary, heartwarming, and eally funny XD i can't believe he put a piece of his soul into the kettle of all things XD that detail alone cracked me up, but I felt surprisingly sad when Bakura revealed how much of the spirit's life was now meaningless. I wonder what they'll both do from here.

I love that he eventually found out that he and Yugi and friends were friends all along and stuff :D
