The thought that it was Mikoto DID pass through my mind, but since you stated it was a girl I was like "nah, can't be her". Didn't expect a clone. I wouldn't be surprised if Orochimaru has clones of a bunch of other people too.
Kinda scary that there's a crazy Uchiha couple somewhere out there. Probably screwing each other like crazy. Would be interesting if they get rid of the Mangekyou drawback by exchanging eyes with each other.

Shame about Itachi being apparently psycho. I like canon Itachi. But I like actual villain Itachi a bit more. He's definitely a scary foe to face.

While it's disappointing that they didn't face off against Raiga, I'm glad he's not a complete moron in this fic.

Since the overall strength of Konoha and the main cast is stronger than normal, I hope their foes also get a power boost. Still can't believe Kishimoto let some of the Akatsuki die to mostly chunin and jonin.

Naruto should be glad he wasn't taken from Konoha. He wouldn't have this relationship he has with Hina and Maya. Hinata could be dead by now and Maya and Aya maybe wouldn't have gotten over their tragedy. All things consider, I think he got the better end of the deal. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty sure he knows he's living a blessed life.
Way better than canon that's for sure.

Hopefully you can start the "fixing" of the Hyuga clan. I always thought their rules we're moronic. Branding the branch but not the main? What stops people from kidnapping main clan members that go out on missions? Not teaching the Branch members some of the stronger tecniques even though they are set as security detail? Talk about stupid.
As stupid as having a single clan compromise the whole of the Konoha Military Police Force. Even though it was basically made by the Nidaime to monitor the Uchiha clan, it's still a mindless decision.

Man...I've missed Bunshichi. Naruto needs more male friends in his life. He doesn't have Sasuke here. Nor Kurama. He's not close with Kakashi or Jiraiya either. And you haven't written any noteworthy interaction with the other males that compromise the Anbu Brats. So I fully support this Bromance!
Maybe we get some more bromancing with Gaara in the future. I can only hope.

Gotta admit...the thing that stood out the most this chapter...is how random that Yugao/Hayate scene was. One moment I was reading a pretty fun sealing event...and then BAM *insert pornhub logo clip here*. Not the first time you've done it either. Wonder why. You like Yugao/Hayate that much? I don't particularly care about it, but you just add them to the chapter out of nowhere.

Yay, we get to see god boy Gaara now. While insane Gaara can serve a purporse at times, Kazekage-to-be Gaara is so much more interesting.

Hmm, kinda annoying how they can't even cuddle in their own home...is it that big of a deal when it's between family? Must be Hanako's teaching about being proper kicking in.

Hmm, I forget Naruto is hella loaded sometimes.

Well, let's see how the meeting with the Suna siblings goes. I'll be sad if we get to say good bye to Natsuko soon. Really enjoyed the scenes with her.
