I see you are writing as if James and Lily are fully aware of what has happened to Harry up until he is 16. After all, you don't mention Wormtail at all.

I just found your story and am quite intrigued. The trunk/home theme has been used by many authors, but I'd like to know where you are going with this. I like your writing style, it is clear and POV doesn't get confused. There were a few typos that distracted from the storyline while I tried to figure out what word you meant to type, but they were few and far between. All together a good effort and I hope you have time to continue your work. Thank you for your efforts.
