I can see Knives doing something like that... if he ran out of other ideas for hurting Vash. The children's names are entirely what I would expect Vash to choose, too.

Great way to show Vash, Meryl, and Milly's future. Hope you write some about Little Nicholas and Rem.

I liked the dream part and the idea of Knives suiciding. That was the first time I saw that in a fic.
The end of the story seems too happy for me compared to the first half that was quite dark. Maybe because it is hard to believe that reassurance words could easily erase the trauma.

Other than that, it was quite enjoyable!
