Loved this modern take on the story! Hope you add more to it!

So after reading your time travel fic, I had to go and read this, and I really liked it, though I'm usually wary of Modern AUs. Great job!

I have just recently finished the tv series and i was hungry for more of Poldark. I was thinking of reading the novels but that would be a spoiler, not that i mind spoilers but i thought it better to read an au fic instead so that's how i stumbled upon this.
First of all, thank you! I find this story intriguing. There's already some aspects in their character that are different but you've captured their essence well so far too. This chapeter sets the ground for development that I'm eager to learn more of. Specifically, Demelza's back story.

This is a fun modern re-telling, and I'm looking forward to more. I like how you've "translated" some of the details, such as Demelza not wearing a bra under her first dress - given that she wasn't wearing any shift under *the* dress in episode 3.

Ross is an idiot to think that any human relationship, particularly one involving frequent sexual intercourse, is going to be without complications. He'll learn soon enough...

I have enjoyed both your "Poldark" stories immensely. I like the Modern day A/U in this story as I thought that "Poldark" would translate well in this era. I wonder who Demelza's ex could possibly be(I have some ideas). I also believe that Ross and Francis should have their talk soon. Oh and I bet Ross and Demelza's relationship is about to become complicated(do I sense baby Julia on the horizon. Thank goodness they have vaccines now). Keep up the good work!
