I love, love this fanfic so much. The part Bail says, "Oh thank the spirits!" was so funny.

For real, I love how this fanfic feels so fairy-tale-esque. It's just... lovely.

OMG that wedding was beautiful and perfect.

I love that Bail had humble beginnings as a nerfherder.

This was such a beautiful story. Brava! I'm happy to see a story focus on Bail and Breha. This so feels like canon.

Side note: If you are ever in a book store take a look at Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View. There is a wonderful short story from Breha's POV called "Eclipse", Madeleine Roux.
There is also a beautiful one from Beru's POV called "Beru Whitesun Lars", Meg Cabot.
The whole completion has some great stories, but those are two that I feel you would love.

...as someone is, by all current indications, asexual, you have no idea how lovely this story is to me. Maybe I'll be fortunate enough to meet another ace and spend my life with them like these two; maybe it's a hidden blessing that I seem to be strong enough to be a singleton in a world of pairs.

And maybe someday I'll be brave enough to tell those I love this secret about myself, and be confident enough to declare that I'm not broken and strange and wrong, the way the world assumes I am. But...not right now. Someday, but not yet.

Either way, this story is hope to me in a way I don't really have words for. So...thank you, for posting it, and reminding me that there are others like me. Even if, in this case, they're fictional. :)

I loved it! They are such a cute couple. Some people are lucky enough to marry their best friends, and asexual doesn't necessarily mean aromantic. You nailed it. ;)

This is absolutely adorable! Headcanon(s) accepted! It's so exciting to see fic of asexual Star Wars characters. And to see it written in a way that is not angsty but so easily accepted.

It's nice to see asexual characters in a story. This is well executed: the writing and characterisation is good, and the whole scenario rings true. You're obviously talanted.

Now I wonder about Leia's relationship with her adoptive mother. They seem rather alike, both probably very playful creatures, though Leia is of course so much more rebellious and fiery lol.

Also wonder how Bail and Breha got around the sex issue since the two decided to have kids sometime in the future. Not to mention the whole wedding night thing...

I think this was very cute. Nobody ever focuses on this couple and we don't get much about them. They kind of remind me of a young John and Abigail Adams of Star Wars without the many children part. I found it very sad that in a technological advanced society that found a way to make clones, couples like Breha and Bail have a hard time producing a child. I wonder why they didn't do in-vetro or you know the whole growing a baby in a tube-jar thing like in 'Brave New World'. I wonder if it might have been for religious reasons, Alderaan seems to be a very conservative and traditional planet.

Anyway I finally have an idea of what kind of character Breha is, and what Bail and Breha's relationship must have been like thanks to you. They sound like they were definately great parents to Leia, and they deserve to be great parents, they deserve Leia despite the fact that I wish Leia was raised with her brother and biological parents. I'm glad that you wrote this. Thank you.

This was beautiful. Elegant, believable story, with likeable characters that wormed their way into my headcanon. It was heartwarming and left a smile on my face, tugging my emotions without having to slam me with huge moments and high drama. Thank you so much for the story!
