Just finished reading the whole thing, it was sooo good! I lost count of the amount of times this story gave me heart attacks because the poor guys just kept getting hit by things as soon as they'd recovered. It was very well balanced cos you managed to cram a lot of action, angst, brotherly banter and new characters in there without it feeling too rushed. I must admit I was a little irritated by Alan sometimes BUT I loved the way you wrote Scott, very realistic. Like the new characters too. So yeah... overall I'd say that was pretty hard to beat

I'm gonna miss this story but why did you have to send through updates while I was away! It's been so hard not being able to read them but knowing they were there! Lol. Epic story, look forward to more!

Awwwww, indeed! But a lovely, happy ending to this brilliant story.

Loved Gordon's line about Scott - "what happened to Mister Captain Major?" Yep, just typical Gordy, though it still shows the affection for seeing his new, relaxed and carefree big brother. A perfect description too!

Also loved Jeff's bewilderment at all the changes that have taken place during his absence, but also his utter pride in how well his boys have coped. How much they've grown, and learned to work together so easily.

And EOS - would love to see her as a hologram, I wonder if that's coming in the next half of the series.

So, then, my last review for this wonderful story - but I'm already looking forward to the sequel! Great job, Scribbles, and here's to the next one! :o)

Brilliant chapter

Yup, a long chapter indeed, Scribbles, but all the more for us all to enjoy - especially after the cliffhanger you all left us with at the end of the last chapter!

Yes, as much as I love to whump Scott too, it was a relief to see him recovering from his latest close call - thanks, of course, to Jen. Good to see Smother Brother One on the receiving end for a change!

And Virgil too, doing what he does best, and lending a reassuring word to her when she needs it. Just hope Kayo never gets o hear that bit about her crying, or that boy's in serious trouble!

Then those lovely little intimate moments to finish off, first with John and Evie, then Scott and Jen. As Virgil would say yes, they're both definitely keepers, and wonderful characters in their own right. But with the boys, they're just so perfectly suited.

So sorry in a way, that we're coming to the end of this story, but at the same time, I can't wait to see how it's finally resolved!
