I chocked up too many times reading this piece T_T

This is so freaking sweet! Jii and Yukiko are the best. I was almost crying tears of joy when Kaito became happy again.

This story was fucking BRILLIANT~!

This is the best story I've read in a long time, and I read every goddamn day. It takes a lot to impress me, I'm quite a stickler, but Hell, this was FANTASTIC! The concepts expressed are really deep and moving, and despite it being so short, it made me want to just BAWL and make all sorts of a mess with broken things and tears. Yet, in the end, it didn't leave me with the long-suffering heart-ache which usually accompanies any story I read that's strong enough to make me cry. It had the same heart-clenching impact of stories where Kaito dies, but without the inevitably depressing ending: Without the finality that death brings, and which makes e depressed whenever I think about it for days to come. What a relief it is, to read a story where I get a good cry but don't end up a horrible mess for days on end afterwards!

This story was So. Damn. Good...

Also, you must think me an emotional trainwreck waiting to happen, but I assure you, such is not the case.

You started the story on such a sad note and I couldn't think of how you'd bring Kaito back, and then the voice acting came out. I'm glad he found another place to shine. That was a beautiful story! Thank you!

This is so heartbreaking...but so true. I love the attention you give to every facet of Kaito's character, especially all the masks he must have. Though I think Aoyama-sensei intended for Magic Kaito to originally be just a fun, laughable thing, it's really evolved over the years to mean something more: a boy, forced to grow up, forced to plan and plan and plan and dream and believe in something he doesn't even know. You've brought that to life perfectly by showing us that Kaito really does need the spotlight to act like himself. To show what happens underneath the surface-and what makes us love Kaito so, so much.

This is beautiful. I love Jii and Yukiko, and their plan. And Kaito was breaking my heart but I was smiling so hard for him in the booth. I felt very smug on his behalf when he started showing off. :)

So many feelings, so believable, so in character. Just a wonderful story. Thank you.

I'm actually just so amazed right now. Characterization was ON POINT, you portray Kaito's emotions so well and Jii's plan is brilliant and pulling Yukiko into it had me shrieking aloud because of course she'd be part of this. Just overall, absolutely wonderful.
