This poem more than any of the others brings me to tears. It expresses so profoundly the mystery and beauty of Christ’s presence with us in suffering. You blur the two worlds perfectly—Susan becomes a Friend of Narnia again, because she finds Aslan in her own world. The verse could not be more fitting for her. Very well done, my friend! It was well worth the wait!

How many times I've felt as she! Lucy's beautiful, passionate defense encapsulates so well both her Valiant heart and Aslan's majesty. My very favorite- how it warms my heart!

I love the continued device of showing a sibling through another's eyes. Edmund's character shines through, embodying his full role as co-king: neither subordinate nor competing. Fully supporting the decisions of the High King, but a part of the decision before it is made or even a word spoken. Both brothers shine, my friend, in your telling.

Methinks you shall be losing that bet! ;)

Edmund's narration carries his characteristic hint of snark, and Lucy's energetic personality could find no better description than through his eyes. I love the parenthetical asides, but the first is the best of all. It's would otherwise be easy to overlook that this is not a description of a twelve year old girl, but of the Valiant Queen in all her joyful splendor.

How ever did you manage to capture Oreius's soul in this, my friend? The humor, the strength, the passion, and the grace- at once a whirlwind and a glassy pond. I loved every moment, especially "I checked!"

A lovely distillation of the Magnificent! For so few words, they speak a volume, touching on so many beautiful facets and tensions of Peter's character, the burdens and joys. The last line is surely my favorite-so full of meaning that it leaves a mind something to chew on.

Nice. Not sure if it's meant to be slash, either way you gave them great chemistry. The verse is good too, with a more natural rhythm than Ch 1.

Oh, if ever I was to have a moment's rest from my life, to these I should wish to write stories to, you have something here that sparks mind's eye! I will not soon forget. I wish someday to be as good a poet as you!
