Ah... This scene is not easy at all, i admit. I was surprised that Matt was so at ease with Karen taking a life. I do understand Karen reaction with the lie, even if maybe at the second passed the surprise she would feel destroyed that he knew, because it was what she feared the most. but really Matt confortable with her actions even for self-defense feels not real. Maybe an argument between the two would have been more respectful of their two strong characters but yeah, this is your fiction and it was not easy to write.

First off thank you SO much for this fic!
I liked it from the first chapter) It's great. I actually love the way Daredevil revealed his identity in your story more than the way it was shown in the series. That's because I am a Karedevil fan so of course I want them to stay together after he tells the truth and I don't think they will break up in your story. Though according to the comics it is going to happen (so I'm sitting here with fingers crossed waiting to see how their relationship will develop in the upcoming Defenders and the 3rd season of DD).
As I said, I ship Matt and Karen and it's always nice to meet someone with same preferences)) I descovered DD fandom about a year ago so I thought I've read nearly all Karedevil fics on this website. But then I found yours. It's just awesome! Charecters in your story look exactly like in the series. Btw today is my Birthday and you made this day even better)
It was funny to read about a woman named Lorelei, 'cause just about two weeks ago our German teacher asked us to learn the poem about Lorelei by heart.
At the beginning of the 9th chapter you said that it's going to be 3 more chapters but there was only 1 so... It's been a year since the last time you've updated but I still hope that you haven't given up on this fandom and you'll post sth new eventually)

I am definitely enjoying this so far! I am not an Elektra fan but I am going to trust you to make sure I don't become one. You have a great story here and I am looking forward to your updates!

...I just realize that Matt & Elektra's relationship would reflect what Karen fears to happen between Karen & Matt.

Karen feared if she told Matt this 'darkness' in her, that she had killed someone before (and we know in S2 that something about Karen't brother had to do with it), that Matt would see her differently and wouldn't love her.

It's kind of the same thing that happened between Elektra and Matt. That Elektra brought out the very ruthless side of her and it made Matt realize they don't know each other at all (and after Elektra believes that Matt could kill someone with no hesitation), that they are not quiet alike. And Matt had seen her differently since.

Yet, despite that is sort-of the same thing happening with Karen, Matt didn't really see her that differently at all. Hehehe

Elektra is the one who will cause a lot of problems, even between Matt & Foggy. I'm a Karedevil myself, but one of the things I admire about Elektra is that she wasn't JUST written off as some assassin who plays around Matt, but an assassin who still cares for Matt and loves him. Because it's odd if u look that Matt falls for two women, and u can't deny they attract him. As Charlie Cox said, Karen brings out the deep part Matt truly believes and the kind of man he (and his father) wants to be-kind, selfless, compassionate, charming man with the belief of Justice and Law through legal system. That Karen brings out the best of him, his light side. The problem is that he had never told her of his dark side that is the devil, and the complication the desire to use his fists and what brutal methods he brought to criminals. While Elektra brings out the dark side of him, but also the reckless, dangerous side, and freedom since he had hold back a lot of himself by playing the blind man. That she accepts Daredevil and encourages him, but he is wary that Elektra believes that Matt is capable to kill and to go WAY OUT of the legal system and justice, and disregard of civilians.

U hooked me when u brought out that your version of Elektra still cares for Matt and loves him. But there's no denying she will bring out complications. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Will there be MATT MURDOCK (not daredevil) fighting and witnessed either by Karen and/or Foggy? I actually hope to witness that while the trio are in the room, Elektra comes it and throws a knife towards Matt, who caught it just inches from his face while Foggy and Karen gaped, whether that Elektra came to seemingly kill or that Matt is actually capable of that.

Love the whole chapter, and I also love that Matt is reaching out to Elektra. Still his compassionate and willing to see the good in people :) Though I'm afraid his friends see it differently. :P Looking forward to the next chapter
