Ironman234 chapter 1 . 6/22
AWWWW! IT'S A CUTE STORY! IN MY STORY OF INTERNATIONAL DISASTER, THERE ARE 2 OF EACH TRACY AND EVEN ANOTHER VERSION OF CASY AND THE HOOD! THE "STORMBIRDS" ARE ACTUALLY WOLVES, IS IT OKAY IF I USE THE BACKGROUND OF ALAN'S MUM FOR THIS STORY! I THINK IT WOULD FIT AS THE STORMBIRDS MUM IS ACTUALLY STILL ALIVE, AND SAM REVEALED THAT THEIR DAD WAS JEFF'S BROTHER, SO IT MAKES SENSE FOR THEIR MUM TO BE LUCILLE'S SISTER, RIGHT?

Phx chapter 1 . 5/10/2015
I really liked this premise although I did not see where Jeff told the boys that Alan was their brother. That part leap frogged, However I did enjoy watching each brother start to accept Alan :)

I liked this story. It was different from the rest, something I haven't read before.

Loved your AU story. I am so glad Scotty finally came around to loving Alan as his baby brother. Thank goodness he followed that 'voice' and was able to save Alan or he would never have forgiven himself.

Aww what a cute story! I loved this and I think it's the perfect story to dedicate to your mentor and her son. I'm glad Alan became part of the family at the end and Scott especially softened toward Alan and accepted him as his brother. Nice twist as well, having Alan's mother be Maureen's twin sister. That was great. Anyway, great work. :) xx

THIS IS ADORABLE AND AMAZING ON SO MANY LEVELS
ok Imma going to list why now: the thing you did with Scott was fascinatingly unexpected but very well done and actually extremely interesting (I tip my hat to you), Alan's my favourite character so all this fluff and feels are exactly the sort of thing I'm into, I love how there was different ways each brother interacted with him to help, LOVE THE WHOLE COUSIN-BROTHER-THING IT WAS INGENIOUS, the ghosts of the mum's was a lovely touch for the other brothers as well, and I reoccurring theme of whales was a brilliant move all round!
Ending-wise I know what you mean about abruptness, but also think that carrying on any more would have spoiled the effect; plus the mother-thing was significant, meaningful and special in so many ways that although it didn't quite carry forward the themes from the majority of the story it was connected to enough of it to give a sense of closure, even if it seems as though the meaning behind the fanfic wasn't what we were lead to believe it was
I have to admit after the bit with 'I have a Dream' from Jeff's flashback I was sure that it'd be one of the ones on Alan's Walkman from the beginning, and at some point the headphones would come out and someone would hear and remember or something. I'm a little saddened that there was so little with Jeff considering, but at the same time it makes it special to just be about the brotherly bonds.
Would it be possible to request a sequel of some sort? Please? I just can't help but want more, and I'm curious about all the possibilities for this AU remaining, and this could remain a stand-alone for the significance of it being the way it is, but maybe even a small one-shot series in this AU would satisfy the cravings myself and I'm sure many other readers are feeling for THE ABSOLUTE ADORABLENESS AND AWESOMNESS!

It was so sweet. It made me cry
Stormyskies89 chapter 1 . 5/1/2015
Oh cute! I like it! Very nicely done! The way that you tie Maureen and Lucy together as sisters is awesome. The only part that I struggled with was picturing Alan (any of the three incarnations there are) doing the Haka. It's hard for a marionette to do it, but nor could I picture Brady Corbet or the CGI one doing it either...but well done.

This was not corny at all. It truly showed family love in its sincere form. Because no matter how much people try to sugar coat it love and family is not easy, but in the end it is one of the things we come to treasure in this world.
