riptidedarkphoenix chapter 11 . 7/16/2018 I love this story so much! I'm glad we get to see a little of America. Keep up the good work! |
FramedCuriosity chapter 11 . 5/5/2018 No! Not Celeborn and Galadriel! Ok, that hit me in the feels and creeped me out all in one! I have to tell you, I have immensely enjoyed your stories, and since Thranduil is my favorite character, I really love how you write him. I also loved his relationship with Elrond in this one, and all the banter. Keep up the good work, and I hope you update soon! |
Guest chapter 1 . 4/18/2018 I was wondering if you could make a few modern countries survive Dagor Dagorath. The country that I really want to survive Dagor Dagorath is Israel and I also want Israel to ally with Thranduil. The reason they should ally with Thranduil when they find out that he tried to save some of the people who died in the holocaust. The other reason they should survive on Thranduil’s side is because I am Jewish and I will be upset if they are destroyed or allied with Morgoth. |
Guest chapter 11 . 1/1/2018 An absolutely wonderful chapter! It was enthralling all the way through! The part in Japan was creepy, but so riveting! Happy New Year to you as well! |
VanyaNoldo22 chapter 11 . 1/3/2018 Mae govannen! I can't stop crying... When Maedhros' wife died, then Thorontur (add another long list) , I already expected that there may be future deaths of my favorite characters from your other stories. But... this...? I don't know how I'll cope... (cries hysterically) I really did not expect you to let go of Galadriel and Celeborn. I just stared at my phone and gaped when I saw those scenes. I kept on trying to think of reasons on why they did not answer, but the probability that they were imprisoned and experimented upon by Morgoth... Thranduil's words are right: 'they did not deserve to die like this.' P.S. Excellent chapter, mellon nin! Although this one is more somber than all the others (in my part... Galadriel is one of my favorite Elves) P.P.S. Happy New Year! P.P.P.S. Now I understand why this took you long to write... And as always, your chapters are worth the wait. :D :D Hugs, and more hugs VanyaNoldo22 |
IoliteofEchoriath chapter 11 . 1/2/2018 Absolutely fantastic! An intricate, epic plot and intriguing characters. I really do love them all. :) You definitely have me hooked! |
Guest chapter 10 . 12/26/2017 Wonderful chapter! I must say, I just found this story two days ago and proceeded to read through all three parts without pausing: that is how good it is! I love all your characters, especially Feanor's sons. You have remarkable skill in weaving together multiple story lines and dealing with so many different characters. No doubt you feel like Thranduil when he was trying to manage so many kings, lords, and egos in one room. But you do a fantastic job! I look forward to when you update! :) |
Firerosedreamer6 chapter 10 . 11/24/2017 So many things happening all over! Gods I do hate spiders! |
VanyaNoldo22 chapter 10 . 10/16/2017 I am glad you are updating again mellon nin! Excellent chapter! I hope the next update comes soon, and I'm really curious about Thranduil's vision/dream. |
Jaya Avendel chapter 10 . 10/16/2017 Oooh, gripping ending. And very mysterious to. Disappeared from the face of the earth? |
ClaraThad chapter 9 . 10/15/2017 I absolutely love the Tempest Series! I can not wait until the next segment is up. I am praying that the House of Oropher stays intact to reap their rewards. They have suffered so much loss and heartache through the ages, they deserve a happy ending. |
TimeturnerJasmy chapter 3 . 8/25/2017 I was smiling so hard when we got to see the long-dead members of the Fellowship again. I really wonder how they'll react to a much older Legolas. Then again, he's still just as timeless as he was back then, so they might not even notice the difference. But there's Nimdir now, and I kinda really want them to meet him before they meet Legolas, but not realise who he is because of his Teleri blood. And then Nimdir will call Legolas Adar and Aragorn will be all like "Wait he's your SON? You actually got married?" ...Heh, yeah. It's probably not going to happen like that, but it would definitely be funny as hell. :D |
thyndolhen chapter 8 . 8/13/2017 What and amazing and wonderful masterpiece it's all this story, I recently found it and I am reading all your incredible writing, I simply adore the way you portrait my adorable character Thranduil, as a wise king so close and loved from his own people... In this chapter I love what Elrond says that he always have been and exemplary leader, he is much more than that, since I knew he had to rebuild his kingdom after the death of Oropher and the raise of dul guldur at south of the forest, he moves to the north where he built his halls, so he could have done everything again by himself and I just hope he doesn't get blinded by the noldor's 'help', and he remember and return to be the greatest elvenking he always have been... Also I hope he realise on time the true danger of his ring, though Thranduil always have been very accurate, methodical and careful on his decisions and leadership, he never do or speak without a purpose and I hope he continue being carefully on whom he trust... Sad me a little he was so harsh acts against Fion and I feel he is making the same mistake of his wife and father not telling Legolas and Dorian that Fion is not really a traitor, I know Thranduil have his manners but he cannot untrust so easily after thousand years of trust, but well I hope he manage everything wisely as always he have been... By the way where is Gil-galad? Thought it wouldn't be a nice encounter if he shows after what happened on the last alliance... Also I think that after the experience of the last alliance, Thranduil learns on the more painful way how you have to be really prepared to face an enemy, since two third parts of his people die there for being really unprepared on armors, weapons and harsh decisions... Dragons to be Thranduil's allies? Not sure how will end everything but a temporarily help is not so bad, poor Thranduil he have to much debts to pay and I feel he will pay them with his own life, but and Elf that have survived so long and all he really wants is help and take care of his people, could get at reward at the end for his incredible great and good heart, maybe the Valars finally help him at the end even if that was not be enough for Thranduil to believe on them... Excellent story and I cannot wait for the next chapter, meanwhile I will read your others stories, ohhh I love how Thranduil interacts with the trees on your previous histories, he is not a silvan elf but the trees knows he loves them... :) |
firerosedreamer67 chapter 8 . 4/29/2017 War has come ready or not. ...love the details you have going, makes for an exciting read!... |
Guest chapter 7 . 4/27/2017 Woah. I just marathoned everything and I'm just in awe of you and your mind! First I just wanted to take a peek into the story, but then you got me hook, line and sinker and I didn't even notice because I was to busy reading! I hope you'll continue soon! |
