Reviews for pillow talk
MissingMommy chapter 1 . 5/8/2015
Omg. Lily and James is just pure love. And I adored what you did here. You really brought them to life - their worry, their fears, their restlessness. I felt it all. And it was glorious.

I love how you portrayed Lily here. It was really beautiful. I love how she can't really stand to be still, not to be fighting. That the war had taken over her life so much that she felt guilty just sitting still.

And I love your inclusion of Peter. Thank Salazar you did. Because I get really upset when people leave him out of the story because he betrayed them. And his characterization was lovely (even if he was only talked about). The fact that he cried at their wedding? I liked it. It shows how soft-hearted he really is.

I would've loved to know more about who betrayed Lily. Because no one says something like that if it didn't happen to them. And at first I thought it was Severus or Petunia, but I don't know.

Their fight was just heartbreakingly perfect. Because they have the same worries. And I'm sure that this isn't going to be the last time they argue about hiding. And I love how it's Lily who first argues about not fighting. And I aww'd at [He chooses to say with me. He chooses to do all in his power to make me happy]. Because that is James in a nutshell.

Great job, as always!
Someone aka Me chapter 1 . 5/5/2015
I love this. I love that Lily sees James' naive trust and she knows better because of Petunia and Sev. Both of them feel so infinitely human in this, and it's fantastic.

Thanks for your entry!
Guest chapter 1 . 4/30/2015
Oh Lily, you naive woman. The one she thinks betrayed her sold his soul (and is currently on a suicide mission) to keep her safe, and despite everything will love her until the day he dies... while the ones she trusts will betray her in the worst way (Sirius throwing away his responsibility towards Harry for a harebrained revenge, Dumbledore will stick Harry with the Dursleys, and Peter, well, at least she suspects he is more than he seems). But James is just the kind of guy to get what he wants, and they love each other enough to think that their view is what the world really is.
