This makes me so emotional. Like...wow. I love the potential of this story.
The only thing I am worried about is that you'll disregard the Yang-Summer relationship. Ruby defines herself on the idea of Summer - but Yang basically consciously vows to make Summer proud every day. Yang remembers Summer far more than Ruby, and still reveres her. The connection between Yang and Summer needs to be given its emotional weight, and I really hope that you'll show their bond which just as much oomph as that of Ruby and Summer.
So...yes. Please. I really, really hope you'll come back around to continue this absolute perfect, heart-wrenching but hopefully-to-be-heartwarming story.

I stumbled across this while digging for Summer Rose fics and ive gotta say, this is well up there in the listings of "Stories really wanna see continued cause i think they have a lot of promise."

I think that Ruby Rose is so emotionally dependant on her mother, or at least the idea of her Mother, that ive been searching for a good story that sorta brings forth some Ruby/Summer interactions. There are a few that make the effort, sure, and i love those stories, but in the ten thousand RWBY fics on FFnet i can count on one hand the Ruby & Summer fics i found worth reading.

Now, i havent seen the film that shares this Fics title, so i cant say i imagine this story following that plot - but i would certainly have very thoroughly enjoyed seeing Ruby and Summer work together to try and save Summers life, and being the mother and daughter Ruby wishes they would have been. Ruby is such an adorable emotional little ball of fluff that i cant help but feel for her myself - and Summer is one of those background characters that i just want to know more about, even if just in Fanon. So, i go diving for fics of them.

I really hope that, one day, you come back to Frequency and continue the story - i wanna see Ruby get the emotional hug that she deserves. Until that happens, ive followed and favorited the story. So, thank you for writing this. I enjoyed reading what little we have, and will keep an eye out for this in the future.

I love Frequency, and I love RWBY, but I never considered mixing the two until now. I'm going to be spending all day thinking of all the possibilities of this and then I'm probably going to end up writing my own version of it and it's all going to be your fault!
