This is good. The first Naruto has Samehada story I’ve come across with good build up. Blindness being a good aspect that I’ve never seen done right. This seemed to be heading there. It’d be a shame if you abandoned this.

ok, this was definitely different from your other story and actually follows cannon a bit more closely (save that Naruto isn't the prankster portrayed in the actual anime.

btw, I am familiar with the flash sonar he uses to see the world. there is a real world version of it taught by the guys at world access for the blind (I know, I spent several years learning how to do this myself). I just wish the real world version of flash sonar were as detailed as you describe. Ah well, can't have everything.

A little sad that Naruto acted like that with Gai, I mean with his little speach with the Hokage in the 1.- chapter about; "...my mind remembers everything, Im the HARDEST WORKER you have ever seen, and I...". So yeah, we are talking about Gai, but he should show more "youth".

Also little sad he is more interested in the second voice he heard than in the first one that saved his life with Kisame, that and he forgot to ask about the Jinchuriky stuff... but hey, he is just 10 years old kid.

Good chapter in it self, question I may have forgotten but did you give Naruto a sight like ability when he lost his sight, the way some of the sentences are written make it seem like he can see fine. Looking forward to reading the next chapter.
