That was so sweet! Both of the characters are so well written that I could actually imagine this scene happening, and that's saying something! And I think I got chills reading the scene from the lair. I don't know why, but reading about Jack being scared is so haunting, because most of the time he is happy and easy-going and all smiles. Those few times where he wasn't, however, were just chilling. Excellent! I loved it! :D

Exactly. Having no fear isn't bravery, it's recklessness, or in some cases, stupidity.

Poor Jamie! I love him so much. It does seem that heroes are never scared, but there are always moments when heroes face their greatest fears. Jamie, you innocent child.
