Wonder what Steve would have said if they would have actually killed poor Ponyboy and he would have been indirectly responsible for the youngest of the gang and his best friends baby brothers death!?

I sure am glad that I'm not Steve because Soda probably beats the snot out of him when he finds out about this, right?
This is an interesting twist on the Steve vs Pony rivalry (ok I know they aren't really rivals but you get the gist).

I had an idea I thought you might like.

Steve, Soda, and Ponyboy all go to Bucks. Without Darry knowing, and Ponyboy gets drunk, and then he ends up running off with some girl he meant at Bucks.
Why Darry and Soda find Ponyboy before the socs do? (Ponyboy picks ups up one of the socs little sisters)
Or will Ponyboy end up going on another adventure like the one he had with Johnny? (But it will just be Ponyboy since Johnny is gone)

What a wonderful ending, it was like even though Steve used his jealousy to try teach Pony a lesson in leaving Soda and him alone when it backfired and in the end his emotions made him get beaten by his Dad, the gang were still there for him and welcomed him into their home, being forgiving.
The make-up scenes between Soda/Steve and Steve/Pony were so nice. Great story. :)

The Socs just never stop, I bet Steve really is feeling remorse, so happy he fought them, good on him.

Story #1: Soda is MIA and Ponyboy is having trouble dealing. He had turned to alcohol. What will the Gang to do bring back this sunset loving greaser? Will Sodapop be okay?

Aw the end of Steve and Soda's friendship, but Pony means more to Soda so I can see that decision, also I'm glad Soda gave Steve a chance to explain.

I really enjoyed the whole Tim scenario and how he just knows everything that goes on. Poor Soda, I bet he's feeling shocked and angry all in one. Things don't look good for Steve now that Soda and Darry know.

I'm so glad Drry is there for Pony. I can't wait to see Soda's shock when he finds out the truth, no-one hurts his little brother.

I'm really glad you used Two-bit to find Pony and thought it worked so well showing his feelings as he spoke to Darry on the phone. Poor Pony he is real hurt but at least he survived, tough kid. :)

Awwww Steve and Soda made up! I'm glad Steve and Pony did too and I hope they can grow into each other as the time goes by

Wow I loved this first chapter, the whole jumping scene was great and very descriptive, I felt Pony's pain. I could only imagine what was going through his head hearing that Seve was behind it.
