Reviews for Teamwork
Biensche chapter 7 . 12/14/2015
This is an amazing story you wrote. I very much enjoyed myself reading it. I really lost time during that time. So, you did a wonderful job as an author.

I liked the way you presented the story line and all the bantering between the brothers and the way Luis chimed in every once in a while and took his place in the story. Not only as the pick-up-the-pieces-and-patch-them-back-together-guy (doc) but as their friend and teammate, too. Even though he was a little clueless at times due to his lack of experience and knowledge but that made him even sweeter. The not so secret hero of the story. It also was a nice treat to use Luis' POV to tell the story.

Thank you for sharing!
Biensche chapter 4 . 12/14/2015
Ooohh... You mean little thing called author! ;-) Have Sam drug Dean? Ouch! Big ouch! :-)
Well, I'm too curious to find out how Dean will react when he finds out about this "little" stunt his brother pulled.
Biensche chapter 1 . 12/13/2015
Nice. :-D

Great and promising start. I'm curious where the journey is heading.

I like how you wrote down the banter and the worrying about each other. Great.
IcyWaters chapter 7 . 12/3/2015
Thank you for the wild adventure, my dear author. It was a rollercoaster ride tagging along with the Winchester boys. I greatly enjoyed seeing them from an outsider's perspective instead of the story being told from the POV of Dean, Sam or both.

I'm still a bit curious if Mrs. Naysmith played a role in Tyler's death. She certainly had motive. But, like Luis, I suppose I'll have to accept that not every mystery is wrapped up in a pretty bow.

"Can't a man enjoy a damned good donut after a hard night's work?"

Damn right he ought to be able to enjoy a good donut!
IcyWaters chapter 6 . 12/3/2015
Great action! Intense and suspenseful. Good thing the Winchester boys had Luis along for the ride. I also appreciated the touches of humor you use to lighten the mood after the salt and burn. Luis having an inner debate on whether to do mouth-to-mouth was hilarious.

"I had once more carried their heavy asses into my living room." — He deserved to put one tiny scratch in the car just for the hassle. Hey, I'm only joking, Dean. :-D

Glad to see the boys resume their usual banter after the injuries they suffered. All is right in the world when Dean is threatening a friend over potential scratches in his baby.
IcyWaters chapter 5 . 12/3/2015
Wow, Dean took that much better than I expected.

"You two have a career in comedy waiting if you should ever stop ghost busting." — So true.

Nice spooky atmosphere at the mansion. You descriptions painted a great visual image. It felt like I was in a haunted house. Now to contend with an angry Tyler!
IcyWaters chapter 4 . 12/3/2015
"My condolences to your mother, two of three boys with hearing impairment."

I like her. :-) The mystery deepens. Just how did Tyler die? For a moment there when Dean did the one-eighty, I thought there might be more to Mrs. Naysmith's story in that there was a love triangle and she was in love with Tyler. When he didn't return those feelings, she killed him. Now I wonder if she might be guilty of killing Tyler in revenge of her brother's death.

Can never trust those ornery little old ladies.

Oh, boy... drugging Dean. Not good. Might need earplugs for the next chapter.
IcyWaters chapter 3 . 12/3/2015
I feel bad for Mrs. Naysmith. Imagine living all those years with everyone believing you had killed your brother. The whispers and innuendos... terrible. I'm surprised she didn't move farther away.

It was amusing how she both gave Dean a cold stare and melted under his charm. So, now they have identified the two ghosts and the object attached to them. What's next?
IcyWaters chapter 2 . 12/3/2015
This chapter was hysterical! Luis fits right in with the quick back and forth. Looking forward to what Mrs. Naysmith has to say. Before I click onto the next chapter, I'll quote a few of my favorite lines:

"My uncle was hunting deer."
"No alcohol for scrambled egg patients."
"If you drool on me, Sammy, I'll kill you."
"Come on, Dean, it's not like I never had to undress your ass. I'm just trying to help."
IcyWaters chapter 1 . 12/3/2015
My knowledge of "Supernatural" is barebones at best, so forgive me if I stick my foot in my mouth. I'm good at that. I really like Luis. I have not read emebalia's work; however, I feel confident you have done the character justice. I empathized with his impatience and growing unease while waiting for the Winchester brothers to arrive. Another detail I like is how you take full advantage of Luis' training—he's a doctor and we get to see him in action.

One of the aspects of the show that I've enjoyed the most when I've caught episodes is the relationship between Sam and Dean. You'd really think the actors were brothers from the way they interact! You captured that spot-on. I loved the humor and repartee. Like Luis noted, "Oh, how I missed their banter." Oh, it's neat how Luis seems eager to gank that ghost. Can't wait to learn how this plays out.
mjf2468 chapter 7 . 11/20/2015
Great story, great ending! Almost makes a person wish Luis would go along with them, ha. Yeah, somewhat traumatic experience for Luis though. Unique experience that's for sure.
mjf2468 chapter 6 . 11/20/2015
So...you like cookies, huh? Excellent well-written action sequences. Do love the interaction among the three, and how Luis is beginning to learn how to give Dean grief. Almost as good as he gets.
mjf2468 chapter 5 . 11/18/2015
Sam was certainly good spirited about getting sucker punched. And of course Dean gets hurt again. Ha.
mjf2468 chapter 4 . 11/18/2015
Good. Dean finally is sleeping. That stubborn man. Loved how it all went down. Good job Sam!
mjf2468 chapter 3 . 11/18/2015
I agree with Jenna...keep your eye on Dean. Like how he was "abrupt" in his direct way of asking questions. And of course the plot thickens.
