I’m absolutely late to the party but I have to say that this story is very good, there’s some plot points that weren’t really talked about like how Brandon stark survives ( I’m assuming he never went south) and how Lyanna stark survived( she died giving birth to Jon) however to be honest the story is so well written in other aspects and the ideas behind it create this state where those things don’t matter. I feel that you should expand a little bit on the rest of Westeros’s story and talk about the other family’s a little more like what happened with Lysa Tully and other characters like Jaime Lannister, just to touch base with them you know.

Well i suppose the Starks likely have the blood of the first king the high king of the first men in them so you could argue they have more of a right to rule than anyone else but they also have right of conquest as well and Stannis spent the whole war under siege aside from that though if all the targaryens died and robert died i would see that as being the end of the seven kings being united

1000 men seems pretty naive when they don't know how many they face, AND they know something else is happening out there. Plus, Mance is a former crow, so he might have trained his people. Their arguments don't make much sense. All I'm saying is that if a king and 3 Lord paramounts marched, they would do it with WAY more men. Without question.

i Don't think you understand lineage very well. starks have no claim on Throne. Robert won it because of his Targeriyan grandmother, this makes Stannis the rightful king. random people in Throne room shouting doesn't makes anyone a king, there's a council for it. Jon would still be bastard, unless a man claims to ne his father, a child with unknown father is recognized a a bastard, king can't change that.
