I so wish there was more of this story! I’d love to know how things play out for your characters.

Who’s been sending those visions to Guide and Keller?

What will Bonewhite be willing to do to take the hive in a safe direction?

How will the Atlantis team, especially Rodney, react to the news that Guide has been intimate with Keller?

Will they find a successful alternative to feeding?

A delightful, beautifully written story that enthralled me from the first sentence to the last.

Excellent characterizations - especially of Todd/Guide, perfectly capturing his wry humor, his gestures, and even his singular enunciations, very effectively bringing this complex and fascinating character to believable life. Not even the most fastidious SG-A fan could find fault with his authenticity.

The nascent intimacy between Guide and Jennifer was well-paced, and realistic in its almost shy longing; and the eventual sex scene - which you so wisely did not rush - was elegantly-sensual, erotic, without the least undertone of coarseness.

You kept the main characters the pivot of the action, which sustained the delicious tension that makes for an enticing plot and a truly satisfying read.

Beautiful work.

My only problem with this story is that there wasn't more of it! ;)

Again, love that Wraith physicality at the beginning. And Jennifer's really HAS gotten comfortable with him now - after he literally pins her to a wall with his feeding hand, she recovers and STILL bosses him around to heal him. I love how subtle this all is - your writing is the perfect example of showing, not telling. Something like that would've scared the piss out of her in earlier chapters, but now she just shrugs it off because she trusts him. Ahhh, my heart! And I really like your explanation of Guide's traditional feeding habits - sounds totally legit. :)

And tragically it ends! We got some Guide exposition this time, yay! I was so tickled by his intention to let his conquest slip to Rodney - my god, he may be an alien, but he's still such a DUDE xD ahaha, I love that you included that. So funny and endearing. And poor Bonewhite, at this point I actually feel a bit sorry for him. He's in a tough position and I have a sad feeling that Guide isn't handling this situation as well as he could. I mean, if he has such good justifications, he really should explain himself instead of shutting down his Second's very VALID concerns with the Wraith equivalent of "because I said so, brat." But love makes you do strange things I guess.

I really, really hope Bonewhite doesn't turn against him for this - I've become way too fond of that character, and I really don't want him to die.

Now, since you've been away from this story for so long I can only assume you've been robbed of inspiration, which happened to me with my best story two years ago so no judgement here. But allow me to mention some things I'd love to see come up, in case that might motivate you Even if you ignore my ideas entirely, maybe they'll at least get you thinking again!

Okay, so. My first and most selfish request. I want some Todd/Sheppard action! I fucking love those two together and with the way you write John I just know you'd make it entertaining, whatever direction you go. Guide seemed pretty PO-ed with him last I checked, which doesn't exactly bode well for my BroTP vision, but fuck it. I just want them to interact, they don't have to like...drink beer and chest-bump or anything xD (that's a play on OTP, which stands for One True Pairing, in case you didn't know...it's like platonic shipping lol)

It would also be pretty cool to read a chapter written through one of the Atlantis teams POVs, centered around the relationship between Guide and Jennifer. Sort of like...getting a look into how they look to a human outsider who hasn't been around to see their relationship grow. I imagine it'd be pretty jarring and if any of them figured out how much Jennifer means to him...I imagine they'd be torn between alarm and slight relief. Like, on the one hand; oh SHIT, the wraith has a crush and there's no freaking way that could ever end well, and on the other hand; heeeeyyy...the wraith has a crush...so they CAN feel emotions for humans and see them as something other than walking lunchboxes.

Also just generally some more Atlantis team actions would be fun. I mean, I'm not particularly interested in them beyond bouncing them off of Guide and all the drama that comes with that, but that drama has a lot of potential :D

I also wanna figure out who's been sending them those visions! So having that mystery solved would be cool...

And then just any stuff with Jennifer and Guide, I'd love to see more angst AND more fluff :D

Alrighty. I don't usually review this much (or, shamefully, at all sometimes) but I just couldn't allow your review count to be so stupidly low considering how awesome this is and how badly I want it to continue. I'll be waiting patiently until it does :)

I can't believe you don't usually write this stuff! This was so amazing! I'm normally bored by sex scenes, but this was so passionate and intimate and beautifully written I devoured every word and loved all of it! You're not vulgar in the least, but you also don't seem afraid to be descriptive so we can picture the scene perfectly. 10/10! And oh, but the scene of the crime...on an altar, surrounded by flora planted to honour human sacrifice, in a bubble floating in space...my god, but there's something tragically and wonderfully symbolic about that. It's adds a whole other layer to all of this besides just being a picturesque place for smexy-times. I'm so sad there's only one more chapter!

Ooooh, I effing LOVE Bonewhite. You've really breathed life into that character. I must say it's nice that he's even trying to go about all of this diplomatically, when he could probably just set up an 'accident' or something. I mean...I'm sure there must be ways he could get rid of her that wouldn't implicate him, as he so chillingly suggested. I feel like he actually DOES have the ships best interests at heart, even if he is being a schemy little bastard xD He's a dark, manipulative character but not a villain. Or at least, if he is one, he's sympathetic.

Oh! And I really enjoyed the first part of this chapter that delved into Jennifer's thoughts. Earlier I praised you for showing, not telling, but exposition can be great when done right - which it was - and it was really nice to get to see inside her head. It made me feel closer to her character, and it was good to get an idea of where she's at with regards to Guide. So it seems that even though she could shrug off his violent outburst in the moment, it still takes its toll on her. Awesome, that's bloody realistic and Guide needs to learn how to treat a girl right. xD Only I don't want him to for my own sick, twisted, kinkilicious reasons.

YAY! I didn't think I'd be so excited to see the rest of the gang, but I guess I missed them xD And much to my satisfaction their entire interaction felt like it was ripped straight out of an episode. Your characterizations haven't failed yet! I especially loved Sheppard's "Rodney!" I could hear it so clearly in my mind haha. Oh! And the Wraith are finally changing their 'tude towards Keller after her awesome display last chapter, huzzah! I wasn't expecting Bonewhite to want them aboard...but actually if he wants to get rid of Jennifer it makes total sense! I'm still curious to see where you take Todd and Sheppard's relationship. I personally always kinda thought they liked each other in a way they'd never admit, with some extra-strong denial on John's part...but maybe that's just me reading too much into their wonderful on-screen chemistry. Their personalities just bounce off each other really well, but they HAVE also displayed some pretty serious hostility in the show, so I guess whichever way you go could be realistic. They're still my BroTP tho :P

I like badass Jennifer! And lol, Guide is so salty about being saved xD I'm keen to see how he deals with his injuries now. He's gonna have to feed, right? D:

Another one of my favourite chapters! This is so great - I love that even though they're both attracted to each other, they're nowhere close to a healthy relationship and a happily ever after. You do so well to balance all the different elements at play here - the skewed power-dynamic, the mistrust, the hunggeeerrr... It's all so enticingly dramatic :D And who the hell is mind-fucking them all the time? I'm almost disappointed that that second vision happened, because I'm really curious about how Guide's darker instincts would've played out after she pulled the knife XD

Oh shit! I honestly wouldn't mind if it was Sheppard, he and Todd are my BroTP after all xD Provided they're not tryna kill each other...and even then, I can dig so long as they both survive. Glad that Guide can see where Sheppard would be coming from if it IS him. Hopefully that'll help things resolve diplomatically.

Hoho, whaaaaaatttt? What an awesome twist! I honestly don't know how much of what Bonewhite is saying is bullshit and how much of it is honesty twisted to suit his own purposes. But his bluntness was pretty hilarious xD I love that Keller is becoming more capable of standing up for herself...at least until she literally can't anymore lol. Now what is Bonewhite planning...and what'll Guide do when he discovers his meddling? I love the intrigue!

Oh my! I wasn't expecting this so soon, but I'm happy! This is turning into a steamy, swirling hot romance and I'm satisfied with the wraithkin and insta-heal explanations. And Todd's "Let's take a lesson from those cards of yours, and next time we'll do this on the table" was just freaking brilliant xD So witty and playful and I'm just like HELLS YES! WRAITH PILLOW TALK IS JUST AS SEXY AS I ALWAYS IMAGINED! Oh, and I think I forgot to mention last review that I thought it was really sweet that Kenny was the one to come to her aid last chapter

Okay wow, that dream was pretty telling. So Guide's pretty much full-on into her but is subconsciously afraid she'll betray him? How ironic! And wtf is happening in that last scene? Kenny seems to know what's going on...

Okay, this is one of my favourite chapters. I'm a sick puppy, so every time Guide gets...threateningly physical I'm happy. That first scene when he snapped at her...mmmm...But I do like that he always sincerely apologizes. He's IS violent and volatile, but he's also a freaking gentleman xD I love that they both pretty much admitted that they've gotten close, hence the need for 'boundaries', and hells yeah cause that draws out the romance! I'm excited to see how Jennifer could potentially earn the respect of the Wraith :D And aww, she trusted him to put his 'killing' hand on her. That's certainly progress :)

Holy balls! Now that's certainly development for you! This was just awesome. I could see many a Wraith choosing to sacrifice an assistant to preserve a vital researcher, but that's not entirely all that what was motivating Guide now is it? :P
