when Rick calls him 'the boy' that just gets me right here *indicates general area of heart, the seat of all most troublesome emotions* coz thats what my brother calls his best friend's 18 month old son (ok, i know its complicated, but he kind of plays daddy coz shes a single mum, so i sort of feel like an auntie- got it?) its such a male thing to do...trying to conceal their heartfelt affection by being all macho...

doodads! that reminds me of the what we call some of my dad's more revolting ties...dont-dads!
and what WAS uncle Jon doing in the hat department indeed!

Oh god, ricks at it now too! what is the world coming to? hehehehe, i just love the way kids are always dropping their parents in it- the other day my pseudo nephew presented his mum with a pooey nappy out of the bin- right in front of everyone having a nice cup of tea!

Oh my that was quite good you know. Lets see, I liked Alex trying on the "Hats", that was great, and I can see him doing that. I also loved when Evelyn told him he could be Uncle Jon, and Alex Says BLoody Hell Damn.

I love seeing the points of view of both Rick and Evelyn, and just how they react to the fun wonderful joy of going Christmas shopping with a four year old.
