Wow! Very moving beginning. Throughout this story I love the way you've portrayed Tom's love and remembrance of Sybil. This scene at the graveyard did bring tears to my eyes!

Really naughty of you to tease us so! For a heart-stopping moment I thought something must have happened to Lily but then as I read on I realised it was Isobel they were mourning! I should have guessed though as you like twists! You are forgiven though as this was another tremendous read! Lovely, lovely scene at Sybil's grave. You really know how to tug at our heartstrings but I can never have two many references to Sybil in a story! Nice glimpse into the future and a possible role for James. Looking forward very much to the final part of your trilogy and thank you for writing something that has given us so much enjoyment!

You naughty person ! Omg I was about in tears and would have been if I hadn't skipped down for my own sanity to be sure. My heart is still racing. Million lashes with a wet noodle to you for about giving me a heart attack. Good job good job though :) Great scene at the graveyard and at Sybil's grave. The feather and Jack's smile - he was smiling at Sybil :) I was about in tears anyway - this was both a sad and happy chapter. Perfection. Bittersweet. You have done an excellent job with this little almost trilogy of yours. Great imagination and writing.

The sequel sounds awesome and I am very glad you are doing it. My wishes : they all survive the war ; George and Lena marry :) bet you didn't think I noticed the hints there ; everyone lives happily ever after even though there will be struggles.

My heart skipped a beat at the beginning - but then I realised it was Isobel who had died and I relaxed! Sad but she had lived a long and full life. Tom with his son at Sybil's grave was beautiful and very moving. You have always shown such great respect for Sybil's memory. This was another fantastic chapter bringing to an end this part of your wonderful story. The whole enterprise has been such a well crafted work from start to finish with some great new characters and fine plotting. Very well done - fine writing!

Awesome chapter as always. Yes like mother like daughter :) you did that wonderfully with sybbie going to james and telling her grandfather to treat him with respect reminding him of Sybil. Glad Lilly made it and the baby. You told it very well. Sybbie's reaction to her brother's birth was adorable. Loved how the older cousins vowed to stick together and included james. James and George will have a bromance like Tom and Matthew. Love all of it and look forward to the epilogue. Glad there will be a sequel. Please let George come out the war safely

Great chapter. I love how Tom comforted sybbie and Tom went after james and convinced him to return and encouraged him. And Tom saying sybbie was like her mother. Everyone is together for Christmas. Loved especially how Isobel took over and her memories came back for Lily. I was wondering how you would handle the birth and Tom's reaction considering what happen to Sybil. I have always been of the opinion it would be in Isobel's character to take over hence why she wasn't in the episode where Sybil gives birth and died. Isobel would have seen the symptoms so she couldn't be there. Normally she would be there. Great job.

I was wondering if sybbie and James would get together :) like mother like daughter. I can't see Tom having a problem with it. He likes him. I bet sybbie wanted to wait outside lol. Great chapter.

I think this was the best chapter of your story - not only because of the ending but it was very well written. You managed to convey tension (the labor) mixed with humor (the Musketeers). Very good job overall!

Wonderful chapter! It really must have been very stressful in the delivery room - you portrayed that brilliantly. Thought Tom in particular held it together very well - awful memories must have been going through his mind. Now we have another Baby Branson - this time a boy! How lovely! I also liked how you have developed the youngsters in this story. Their 'band of brothers' comradeship was rather moving in this chapter. All in all, a terrific read!
