I discovered this story how long ago and I'm only now leaving a review? Wow.
Anyways, this is absolutely fantastic. Short, but the emotions are so poignant and real and gosh, this hurt my heart when I first discovered it as a die-hard Raphael fan and it still hurts my heart several years and fandoms later.

Oh my word! That was lovely! I just wish that you had continued because I would love to see who it was that called his name (I'm guessing it's Leo, but I could be wrong, right?) and what they're reaction was.

Gave me chills. Poor Raph - I liked your line "reality had a nasty habit of not giving you what you want, especially if you're a mutant turtle." I wonder if Leo will have survivor's guilt about making him run off... Nice story! :)

Oh man, that's so sad! I can see Raph feeling this way though and not wanting to let go of his life yet, though he has no choice. I'd like to think that whoever yelled for him was able to get him to the Lair in time, but who knows? Nicely done on this.
