Wow, I love this story so much! Each time I re-read it, I pick up something new and amazing that I missed out last time. I just want to tell you how much I adore this story!
Well, first off, let me say how fantastic the writing is. Every moment of this fic is filled with intrigue, making the story so fascinating to read. I just can’t seem to put it down! Second off, the plot is just so good! I mean I feel the idea is really original and the execution of said idea is even better. It’s also really cool to see how every change is really part of the plot (if that makes any sense). I think a lot of very good time travel stories have, well, time travel as just a method of putting the same characters together under different circumstances (don’t get me wrong, these fic’s are great as well), but in My Master Ed we really get to see how time travel is affecting everything and causing Ed to make so many hard decisions which is really cool and is part of what makes this story so unique. Thirdly, I love your characterization and the development of the relationship between Ed and Van. It not only feels realistic but it is just super great to read! I also think that as of what we have seen so far, Ed’s grieving is well composed from an accuracy standpoint as well as an artistic standpoint. His grief feels very real and the reader is able to see how much Al’s death has impacted Ed but not so much that his mourning interfered with the overall mood of the story.
I just want to say thank you so much for writing this master (hehe) piece of a story and putting it out there for the world to see! It has made my day that much brighter!

Absolutely loved it.

While I still find it a little weird when Ed hugs Hohenheim in a father-son way for obvious reasons, it's very grounded and sometimes I relate it to the friendship between David and Jonathan. Good job in there.

Pretty sure these two are gonna go places.

On the other hand, it really slammed into me that Ed is on very very VERY serious spot. The kid has insane guts to decide to change history even if it means sacrificing the existence of a lot of people he knows.

The way you wrote it made me feel what he felt and damn, I really hope things work out for Ed in the end.

But my suspicions are that this is going to end in a bittersweet note.

Equivalent Exchange for a change in history...the price is going to be unbearable.

Anyhow, fantastic story. I am definitely feeling the rich narrative from the FMA universe, bit I feel sometimes it needs more humor or a funny character that appears to balance the heavy topics out.

Like Armstrong or Ling do in Brotherhood sometimes.

This story is a masterpiece, you better be proud of it. You’re still working on it right? I dont know much about The speed that you upload at considering i just found this fanfiction.

But wether you are or not does’nt matter, its been a lot of fun Reading this piece of art. I love The writing style and The portraying of The characters. Which is very imprressive considering that one’s personality has so many diffrent factors, and The Way that they come of is spot on.

I hope you’re proud of this, it deserves all My praise.

AAAAAA, you write this so well and I adore this so much, honestly! Just, this is honestly one of my favorite FMA stories!

When my grandfather passed, my uncle gave a eulogy at his Wake. He had a bit of contention with my grandfather in life, but I remember him saying that, in preparation for the speech, he came to a place of understanding and forgiveness for my grandfather. That, though my uncle had resentments for him as a father, learning about him more and seeing his history as a person helped him see him as that... a person.

It's stuck with me, and I find interesting to see similar shapes of his story in media. Like, how Ed is so angry at his father for failing to fill the role Ed needed him to be there for, but is finding empathy and compassion for the same man now that he's here to witness Van at a younger stage in life.
