Great story, and after all the Dying!MP and Dying!J stories I've been reading, this comes as a wonderful bit of fluff. So well written, too! Like another reviewer, I'll admit to reading this story with a big grin on my face. Loved the interactions between ChristmasParty!MP and a drunk Lyle; funny stuff! Excellent writing and I hope to lose myself into more of your stories!

I'm a little behind times on reading your story, but I'm glad I found it! First, I'm a sucker for a Christmas story. Second, I'm a hopeless... "shipper"? MP/J? fan ... Third- I am exceedingly impressed by your seamless inclusion of the challenge items! I assumed at the beginning that it was just "write a 'shippy' Xmas story." Very, very nicely done!

Now, on to the elements I usually focus on: your characterization is excellent, especially Miss Parker's. Her behavior at the Christmas party (and your interpretation of "botched") is *perfect*. Broots/mistletoe- priceless! :-)

The whole thing was beautifully plausible, especially the alternative explanation of the "Christmas Truce."

Also, I love the way you used Debbie's character.
