Also, it's actually kinda difficult to believe that Drake would even give Darla the time of day, considering the fact that he really, really hates women. I mean, it could just be considered a psycho-sexual thing, but this is the guy that not even Diana could manipulate like she could the other teenage boys of Coates, so it really says a lot of his character that he shows pretty much no interest in girls unless he's murdering them.

Oh man, she's dead. Gotta say, this version of Darla is a lot more meek and self-loathing than the version from the previous chapters, but hey, at least Drake is no longer a suckup. Looking forward to seeing more of this soon, it's probably the only decent remaining Gone fic in this long extinct fandom.
