Yay-extremely well done. Frankly, I'm surprised that Albus let him go on this trip or refrained from sabotaging things-it's always been my impression that he wanted Snape under his thumb/beneath his heel in perpetuity.

But I am so delighted that Severus and Hermione are together again, it scarcely matters where they live.

And the Ministry can just suck it for not appreciating him properly (and his friends at Hogwarts will just have to miss him, since it seems to be the case that none of them went for bat for him at the Ministry. Sure, they may think it's minor, but they know Severus think it's major and still they can't lift a finger).

Yes, Severus and Hermione deserve to live in love and harmony, whether at Snape Manor or in Japan. And if they happen to end up in Japan full time, eh, wherever they are happy is what matters.

Yup, Snape could have figured things out faster if he'd remembered to do his research, but he's there and she's there and they're both there together.

Yes, he must go to her. (and yet it's funny that nobody who think he earned the First Class medal ever talked to the Ministry about it-especially not Albus. Did he fear that Snape might think he was a real person and deserved more than Hogwarts?).

But Hermione giving him *her* medal, that is a gift beyond rubies. And if's one that even Zabini never thought of.

Ha, I guessed the name of her husband and I didn't cheat, either.

But of course no matter how concerned anybody is, not one of them is setting the Ministry on fire to give Snape the medal he truly deserves. Sigh. Not even his fellow Slytherin.

Oh, splendid-love how a potion was part of the answer. And yet, Snape still hasn't done a bit of basic research...that's not like him at all.

Oh...Severus is slipping. It should be easy enough to find out the name of the wizard that Hermione married, and who died. Could it be, 'Mishima'? And could her work be the reason those boxes have such a reputation?

Glad that Zabini was there to help offer clues and other assistance, though.

Just wondering-did any survivors of the battle ever get actual therapy? Oh, wait, this is the Wizarding World, silly question. (and Narcissa clearly hosed Snape, though it would have been rather easy for her to keep the illusion going just long enough to get Draco sprung).

I think that he's deflecting a lot of his anger at Narcissa at Hermione, myself.

Yup, Snape could brood for the Olympics. But why is he still angry at her? She's suffered, too.
