Well, this is quite a story. Not in a bad way but in a I don’t know what to say kind of way. I honestly would have preferred it if Harry wasn’t cured so that it could have an underlying meaning about how illness doesn’t have to hold you back and all that but oh well. The time line wasn’t very clear, when they were in 6/7 year I thought they were in second.

I wonder how much would have changed if they Had allowed Severus to work there. He could have assisted or apprenticed as a youngster and completely changed. What a shame that they all allowed emotions to rule their thinking.

It's kind of interesting that Harry didn't think about the self fulfilling aspect of banning Snape - it would have provided him with both credibility and an escape from the Marauders. It also must have been extremely frustrating for Slughorn to recommend a student, especially one coming from rougher circumstances, and be unable to help him succeed. It would be interesting to perhaps have an AU ending where Harry and Hermione overhear how devastated he was to be not accepted and how much Potter and Black then used that to say that he'd never amount to anything... what changes could happen due to him being allowed to go... hmm.

Nicely developed story ...love Harry's last thought a perfect ending.

"Harry thought, 'I wish for Professor Snape to lose his complete memory of his time as a student at Hogwarts.'" I'm surprised that this worked properly, considering how general the spell was. I would think Snape's "complete memory" would include how to brew potions and anything else he learned at Hogwarts. A better wish would probably be for him to just lose his memory of James Potter and his friends.

I hate snape in this. Glad Harry has salazar though. Good story! Write on!

I can't believe Snape wouldn't at least come to respect Harry for his achievements in potions. I suppose he is jealous. It must be a bitter pill not to be able to work in the research center, especially after his mother had. I wonder that he never seems to look within himself for the source of his problems; rather, he just blames Harry for everything. Sad.

Very nice story. It was kind of nice not to be focused on Voldemort.

"Although Harry and Severus spent day and night in the lab during the following weeks and only left for a few hours ..." Don't you mean Harry and Salazar?

"Why always Potter?" Snape blurted out, spatting the name. "Does he own the whole world?" Really, this is from an adult? Snape sounds just like whiny Ron Weasley on one of his epic tantrum/sulks during the fourth year TWT.

"Severus, this all is your fault," Pomfrey threw in, sternly. "It was you who drove Harry over the edge and made him travel to the time of the founders to study. He didn't have any ambitions to become the owner of Hogwarts or anything like that. He merely wanted to study Potions, which wasn't possible for him here because of verbal abuse by you."

I hope Harry's rebirth from his icing day will "start him over," without any pre-existing problems.
