This was very promising; sorry you've stopped working on it. I hate what Rowling did to Snape and seek out AUs where he gets some happiness. Canon Lily was no real friend to him, but I'm good with AUs that change that or gloss over that fact.

Wait WHY was SIRIUS arrested?! Unless he still went after Peter for revenge like in canon and Peter supposedly getting killed alongside the 12 muggles still happened, but even IF he DIDN'T go after Peter this time around, with both Lily and Harry still alive, WHY did Sirius still get arrested? For what? When everyone started tossing around the 'Sirius Black was the Secret Keeper, so HE must be the one who 'betrayed' the Potters to Voldemort' accusations, Lily should have immediately stepped in and STOPPED those rumors and accusations. Unless the jerks making the accusations thought Sirius had her under a spell that was making her lie about who was the Secret Keeper, but still HER word as one of the survivors should have stopped them from putting Sirius on trial for something SHE should KNOW that HE didn't do to HER family. *lol*
