You ask with your boyish charm—something that might have had her at her knees in your younger years.” The irony to that part is she grew up and it no longer has an effect on her like it would’ve when she was a teen. And obviously he’s become her “poor mans wendy to Lucas” meaning she has no feelings for Josh and in all honesty is using him cause she’s in love with Lucas despite Lucas marrying Riley. And the one that’s getting hurt is Josh cause he fell for her while they were sneaking behind everyone’s back. |

When I was first reading I assumed it was Lucas at the bar but then realized it was Josh and had to reread that part hahaha. This is truly heartbreaking and I just couldn't help but root for everyone in this story, which is hard to say for most that I read. I really just wanted happiness for all of them, and the fact that you were able to make me care so deeply for these characters and their future situations beyond the show is incredible. |
