It's nice to see Morgana foregoing her willful blindness towards Arthur for a little while. Now if she could just overcome her blindness to Uther's love for her she might be able to take the next step, but sadly she's got too many reasons to hate Uther to be thwarted by one little detail like his unconditional love for her.

Why do people feel this inclination to write sad things? My heart can't take this. :)

I think this story is an interesting look at Morgana's character and motivations. She has depth on this story, and her thoughts allow the reader to empathise with her without agreeing with her actions. Thanks for sharing this story, and God bless!

The family bond between Arthur and Morgana seems to be both a gift and a curse. They both had so many opportunities to get rid of each other once and for all, but they didn't. Becoz no matter what happened, they were once family.

This was very well done (as always).

Good to see Morgana falter and doubt from her own memories - just goes to show we are not all black and white.

I always believed that Morgana hadn't always had evil in her blood. I truly believed that at some point in her life, she was actually a decent person. It was different when she and Arthur were young and innocent. But some people change as they age and that is so true how you put it in this fic. I think the difference between her and Merlin is that she chose to use her magic to do bad things. And she ended up the way she did because of that choice.

Ah, that was a great little story. I loved Morgana in the first season. Redemption was almost at her fingertips! Poor Morgana. (didn't think I'd ever say that!)

Very sweet story. Reading it makes me sad. Sad of thinking that the friendly, compassionate Morgana will be gone forever. But good story though.
