Hey ! This is a great, great fic, I'm really fond of it. But it seems that the last update was made 4 years ago ! Why did you drop the story ? It was getting so well from the beginning omg. Did you write it elsewhere ? I'm wondering so bad, please keep up !

Woot! Hello Ratbag! Possibly my favorite comic relief character of all time. Nothing much changed there, though, Talion? There's really no need to wonder, if Hallas saw you even considering a deal with an orc he'd run you through then and there with something sharp and pointy, no questions asked. Also, is Elanor going to meet little old Ratbag at some point? It'd be fun to see him sneer at her and get smacked with something, proving that, yes, even the little female humans are more dangerous than uruks think they are. Something like that might even make Talion smile again. Though there's an ugly confrontation about her father's state of being brewing first I think. If she doesn't get eaten by something while chasing after Gollum. Things are about to get messier aren't they?
Speaking of messy I see Celebrimbor has flipped back to being an ass. Honestly that's one of my favorite things about his character though. Most of the time you get the Wraith, who is the culmination of all the damage that elf's soul has suffered over the millenia. Then every so often something will prompt a softer emotion and you'll get a flash of the good, noble elf he was when he was alive.
Anyway, fantastic read as always and I'll see you next chapter. No matter how long it takes; believe me I understand RL getting in the way. (You can't get rid of me that easily!) :)

As for the chapter: Poor Elanor, she's gotten a number of really nasty life lessons in a few days. Living where she has her entire life, I'd bet that she's never had to consider that other humans might be a threat before. Then to have Celebrimbor picking at a wound that's barely stopped bleeding, nevermind healed...? Good thing the girl is as stubborn as her parents. Though Talion has a good point here about Hirgon that the games never needed to touch on. It's really quite cool seeing how even little things change somewhat now that he has to keep her safety in mind.
Now on to the next chapter!

Hmm... Thank you for updating this interesting story. I haven't played "Shadow of Mordor", but I have played through "Shadow of War". I love this concept of Talion's living daughter as his only remaining connection to his previous life. Of course, she will discover the truth about him sooner or later, as Celebrimbor correctly predicted… I love the extensions and the way all the main characters are portrayed… so believable. When will Elanor meet Ratbag? It would be so amusing for them to interact… Thanks again. :)

Hopefully little Elanor doesn’t get into too much trouble (I say knowing she probably will). Poor thing is already about to be thrown for a loop when she finally learns her father is technically dead.

Yahoo I am happy to see this back in action, I really enjoyed that Elanor hasn't gotten over the deaths of her family (from a writers perspective). Hope to see more chapters soon.
