There is something so perfectly charming about this little story. It felt like family - I guess that's because it is focused around one. Regardless it felt genuine and sweet.

This was so wonderful! You perfectly captured the panic and terror of waking up from nightmares, and the struggle to push them away and calm back down. I also really enjoyed how you wrote out Cloud's thoughts, particularly the line "One of these days he'd keep his shit together long enough to not ruin everything.", because it's a subtle nod at his self-loathing and his striving to make things better. Awesome fic!

D'awwww what an amazing story. For once, they're the saviors and he's the one who needs rescuing. I absolutely love this.

Daaaw! What a wonderful ending! This was an interesting theme. To be honest I thought the summery was about Denzel when I first read it. lol I was quickly corrected. :) I could easily see Denzel having nightmares too though, with everything he had been through.

Anyway, I was expecting Tifa to be the first one to check on him but it was cute how the kids found him first. Poor Cloud, I wonder if he'll ever "get his shit together", but I doubt it. XD Pretty sure he's damaged for life, but at least he has those three to "look after him". :P

I noticed that this isn't complete status, is that a mistake or do you plan on adding to it? I shall keep my eyes open for anything else you put out. Nice job!

Awhhhh! This family is just so adorable! They're always supporting each other even though they're not of blood. I love them all.

I love how Marlene felt disappointed in herself for being scared, but she is just a child. It's natural for her to run off and get help. Bless her, she's trying to be brave. I love that about her and I love how you write her.

I like the fact that Denzel stayed by Cloud's side and was trying to help him the best he could. Denzel tries and that's what is so nice about his character.

I half expected Tifa to run through Cloud's bedroom door and help him, but this version is better because you've got the children trying to help him too. I love their children.

Poor Cloud though, he's disappointed in himself for the scene he's caused but he shouldn't feel like that. Hopefully having them all helping him should make him realise that. I admire Cloud not wanting to get them involved because he doesn't want them to see him in that way and worry them, but he's only human. This family, or rather, his family will always be there to lend a hand when things get rough.

I love it. Stories of the 7th Heaven family are the best, but this one probably takes the cake as one of my top favorites. It makes Cloud's line to Marlene from ACC so much more potent. :) Great writing!
