I thought the same thing when I saw this episode, and actually I repeated that thought many times as I watched the series. Robin was just sort of brushed aside mostly, very rarely emphasized or studied as a character, even though he was arguably the most interesting of all of them! I loved this and I hope you've written more about Robin!

Wow, this was fantastic! So good! I love stories that show how human Robin is, especially compared to the rest of the team. He has limitations that the others don't necessarily have, and the exhaustion in this battle made it feel so real. I agree with you too, I believe Robin fears Batman a bit, and the idea that he apologized for messing up just rings so true. I loved the way you characterized Batman as well, how while he's in costume he is unable to really show any emotions. I am so disappointed that this is only a one shot, I would love to see what happens next!

Ohhh...very clever, and fantastically written. I'm jealous, even I'm not that good at writing fight scenes (I have no fics up, but I do write, and writing fight scenes like the one's you just wrote in this are still tough for me at times). I'm a huge Robin and KF fan esp when it's KF coming to Robin's rescue, but I'll admit, having M'Gann be the one to rescue Robin was actually quite perfect-I love how the moment Robin let his voice be heard over the mind link that she was right there. A nice little time for her to shine. I also loved the way you wrote Batman's character in the end-Robin thought that he had to be strong and not seem like a weakling in Batman's eyes and that it was his fault-but gyah, how could having a terrible thing like that happen be his fault, esp since he had Poison Ivy on the other end? I would've loved to have seen this play out in the actual episode-kudo's to you for a job well done. You should definitely write more, I love it when Robin/Dick is in distress and in need of rescuing. ;)
