Well whoa! That was nicely done. I have to say introducing Inori as Shu's prayer and giving background of the 'Elders'. The Fallen kingdoms mentioned is also pretty awesome.

Shu has finally got his well deserved king's Power. Also I really enjoyed it when Mana and Inori gave their hearts.

Alter Ego, well from what I read he seems to be a lot like Yuu. The questions plaguing Shu was also deep, it really made you question everything.

I think this story is awesome, especially the part where you impaled Shu. Though, it's a bit weird reading all the love while Shu and Mana is still kids... Oh, and for a "commanding" voice, don't use "...", that's a sign of nervousness. Thanks so much!

Hmmm. It's a bit short and from what was shown so far, I can't really say much.
It's nothing new, which, granted, isn't a fair argument yet, given how all fanfics have to start somewhere and make connections to the anime. It's how the plot will develop from here, that will make it truly interesting. You could say you have only laid the groundwork for this story. Now it's the time to start building the actual plot. Let's see where this goes.
Though I have to say, the idea of letting Shu accept the role of Adam from the start seems to boom lately. I keep seeing more fanfics with that idea appearing, causing me to feel a bit underwhelmed with them. You could say it's getting a bit mainstream as of late. Everyone just keeps mentioning Guilty Melody and appears to try to walk in its footsteps. Problem with that is, though, that GM's success lied in the fact that it was the first fanfic which attempted to do that kind of plot. It was something new, something fresh. And people liked it for that. Now that everyone is doing it, your version would have to have some seriously cool differences to make it stick out in comparison. I wish you good luck with that.
Small advice: You could use some more commas and periods here and there. It would make some sentences a bit easier to read. I noticed this especially in your dialogues. Don't worry, you will get the hang of it in no time.
