I don't think I can convey my love of this story in words. But I'll try.
I've ALWAYS been curious about what happened between the dragons in the earth chapter and when Phoney wakes up, Jeff Smith didn't really delve into that a lot...but I loved the way you wrote it! It was realistic and well written and so heart wrenching that I just had to pause reading at parts. The only sad thing is that I can't favorite this story a million times. :( Sad.
Anyway, great job and I hope you'll write more for bone, both your bone stories were amazing!

It's great how you are able to portray Phoney as actually having feelings other than greed and self-interest under that sweater of his. And if he knew people had seen him like that, he would never live it down. I love it.
