This is marvelous! I know, I'm reading it 5 years too late, but here I am. I felt the same way about these two characters and their relationship. Made me mad when it wasn't renewed. Thank you for this well done story to remind me. I think I need to find it on Netflix again. :)

Lovely one-shots. I almost feel like you wrote a longer story with how well you express everything so completely and with such good flow. I'm glad you love writing because there are a lot of people who love reading.

This was intense. I like how you drop the reader right into the action. Again, you nailed the budding antagonistic friendship forming between Milt and Russ. I was also happy to see Font take a larger part in this story. Many thanks for writing stories for the underappreciated "Battle Creek."

I feel like everybody else's comments have summed up my thoughts pretty well but I wanted to leave a review anyway. This was great and I love the detailed way you write and how you portrayed them. I like hurt/comfort stories like this because these are the situations where I'm-too-tough-for-emotions characters like Russ have to deal with the fact that maybe they actually do care. And seriously, Milt would totally do something heroic/risky like that. I hope you write more Battle Creek stories because there really aren't enough on the site. Anyway, this is getting legthy so I'll just say great work and thanks for sharing! :)
