I'm impressed and take my hat off to you. Finally a story that makes the characters appear as fairly normal people despite their magic, one that does not call upon spectacular (and at the same time cliched) plot devices, one that does not rely on drawn-out action scenes, one that gives depth to the characters, too, by showing what they think. It took a little while to get used to your story, but in a good sense, because it stands out from the background of many variations of a few themes. Yours is a theme unto itself. As for "dramatis personae", I like your introspective and optimistic Ron best, closely followed by your assertive Ginny.

Really NOT BAD AT ALL! One piece of advice. If you let it the creeps on this site will chew you up and spit you out and go right on to their next target. You have some talent for writing and this site is a good place to develop it much further. The thing is that the points that make it good for your development are the same that can drag you down. The world of professional writers is littered with critics that think they could have done better. A few have some good points, but you MUST grow a thick skin. This ain't real life, folks. It's fantasy practice. Thanks for finishing and leaving us a good read. You can't do much better here.

Ahhh, but to disqualify Harry for rescuing whom he would miss most would mean every other champion would have to be disqualified for the same reason. Unless the judges intend to officially proclaim they have the right and power to dictate what other peoples’ relationships are. Without even informing said people of said relationships, no less.

Olympe did this to herself. Can't be helped now. But Viktor coming out to Hermione as truly wanting her in his life, to the point of offering sanctuary to her extended unofficial family as well as her parents; well, that is simply remarkable! We haven't heard the last of Krum!

1. Five years, and still you failed to deliver on the premise.
2. Different viewpoints are well and good, but some characters are not worth the time, and dont bring anything interesting to the table.
3. Constant stream of answering every review is fucking obnoxious. Get a bloody forum and do it there.
