You created a decent story and you told it fairly well, but dear gods you desperately need to learn to proofread. Yes you apparently had trouble with betas, so don't ask for betas, ask for proofreaders instead.

Because the number of words nearly always spelled wrong, or simply wrong words used(detonation not detention, cupola not copula, hangar not hanger, dilation not dalliance, trial not trail, soldier not solider etc etc etc), lots of capital first letters in words where there shouldn't be such, random words added or lost, sometimes it made chapters almost unreadable or outright killed the story as it completely ruins the flow of the story.
The first 20-25 chapters were outright painful to get through.

And yes i read your note about your issues, i'm perfectly well aware of such troubles since my best friend started out with a severe case of dyslexia.
He worked hard on it, and mostly got over it. You can also do that.
It's also worth noting that your author notes are of higher quality than the story text, clearly you're either doing something right with the notes or something wrong with the story text.

loved !loved! the series. Only downside is that Cain one of the main instigators of the trouble got to get an honorable death instead of made to wallow in her failure and arrogance. Bit of a sore point. She was so arrogant at being unbeatable and got to go out without being held accountable.
