Despite some lines in places that felt off for Clint, Natasha, and possibly a few for some others... This is a great collection of telephone conversations.

If you can finish what you started, I welcome it. But, from the author notes on this chapter... I get that you have your reasons.

The only big complaint I have for this collection is that the parts in SOS don't feel they fit here.

They deserve its own story, branching off of this one.

It would certainly make for a less confusing read.

Plus, it would give you the excuse to add more chapters to Birds of a Feather without feeling there's too many.

If you do though take my suggestion about branching off SOS parts... Please at least let me know.

I'd like that: Especially since that would mean I'd then know what story to find to pick up where I left off. That is, if you get around to adding more chapters to it.

I love how these few harmless phone calls blew up into the huge story it is now. Read through it way too fast, that I'm sure off. I absolutely adore the brother-sister relationships in this thing. And Clint's little heart-to-heart-s with Hunter, love that.

Eww this chapter though... full of action, and suspense, and too many feels. Ward is a dick. And Bobbi... :( haaa cliffhanger!

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head that Hawkeye and Black Widow could help out with is evacuations. I don't remember any of the SHIELD team really worrying about the lives of the agents on Gonzales's ship like they do here, but it makes sense that people would need to be helped off the ship. The two of them would need to clear a safe path, locate agents, and perhaps fly them out to a safe distance on land or to other aircraft/sea vessels in the area, so that if the crystals are used en mass by Jiaying the casualty numbers are fewer. It's not a perfect solution to the "where were Barton and Romanoff in all this" problem but saving lives would definitely be an important part of this in Coulson's eyes. (Now, why the roles weren't switched so that Strike Team Delta (Hawkeye and BW) had the harder mission and the normal SHIELD agents of Coulson's were doing evac, I don't know - it's not a perfect solution haha.) Then, if you want to add in some additional intensity, you can have them meet an Inhuman from the comics along the way. Just a thought; feel free to use it or not! What to do with them is a bit of a conundrum; I agree. As far as this chapter goes, I love how Coulson called them "loose cannons"!

Natasha and Clint should help rescue agents and then help may and lincoln fight the girl with the power of multiplying herself. I loved the chapter update. It was amazing. Don't forget to add Fitzs famous line "science biatch". Good job can't wait.
