| Alan chapter 2 . 9/30/2019 This fanfiction is now my headcanon and damn it I WANT IT ANIMATED. I've been severely depressed since finishing the anime 2 nights ago and this was exactly what I wanted and needed to read. I can picture it so vividly in my mind as I'm reading, voices and all. All the while the 2nd ending song 7! continously loops in my head as well making me tear up as I continue reading. Except now they're tears of happiness. This is just an amazing godsend of a fanfic; no...official alternate TRUE ending as far as I'm concerned. I'll never be able to watch Episode 22 again and frankly I'm thankful for that. |

I was literally tearing up as I read those familiar lines of his as he plays the piano and here, seeing kaori respond. As this anime is my all time favourite, it holds a special place in my heart. I was alright with the original ending though this fanfic gave me what I wanted to see. A universe where kaori is saved. Thank you for this! _ |
