I enjoyed this story. It was sweet and fun and engaging. Emma and Killian were excellent and the true love kiss was perfectly written. I enjoyed Ursula and Ariel and Belle. Henry was sweet. Regina was bold and direct as she always is but she was helpful and that was important. I was shocked when Rumple killed Mal but that's how the Dark One works. A very different ending to the Queens of Darkness plot which was enjoyable also.

The merman aspect was very good, a unique story in OUaT fandom that I have never seen before. It was interesting to see Killian so surprised to be breathing underwater and tough to see that he was disappointed that he had misjudged his father for his entire life. He made the best of his new life, and survived as a cursed mermer because he had to, he was ready to give it all up for Emma. Shell communication was clever and a lifeline for both of them as they worked to resolve his curse, the trap for Rumple and Cruella. I liked Cruella's ending, to be run out of town.

Emma playing as a mermaid was sweet. I love the thought of the two of them on the Jolly Roger, updated with modern conveniences, happy and in love. A respite for the Savior with no bad guys to hunt. Thanks for sharing, thanks for the extra chapters.

I read all of this in a day and I loved it! So well done, I love anything mermaids and this was really sweet and a fun alternate way season 4b could have gone. It was lovely watching Emma and Killian's relationship grow with the mer-challenge presented to them and I love the additional bond and connection it gave them. Very sweet and exciting story, I really enjoyed every chapter. Thanks so much for sharing this fun, sweet story!

I love this story! I just spent all day reading it and it enjoyed it so much. Some mermaid things can be too cliche and corny but you did a really good job of writing this! And nice touch with this added chapter of Charming swimming with Killian.

What an unexpected treat, diving back into this story that I loved so much. I love the bromance! But now that you've reminded me of this story, I want more! What about a baby for Emma and Killian? Would she/he be a mixture of them both or more mermaid or more magical?
